Sustainable Raw Materials - The Origin

At TSG, we partner with yarn suppliers to source eco-friendly raw materials. This is the very first, and most essential, step in creating green products.

We use more sustainable fibers every year and plan to adopt even more eco-friendly fibers in the future. In 2019, we used a total of 24 tons of organic cotton, 940 tons of recycled polyester, and 258 tons of Tencel Lyocell.

Green Production - Focus on the process

Our production strictly abide by the rules of internationally recognized compliance organizations including Oeko-tex, Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, and China Quality Certification Centre.

At TSG, we always have sustainability in mind. We are willing to take extra steps to save water, electricity, and chemical usage. Green materials and green production go hand in hand at TSG.

Waste Water Treatment - A closed loop system

We have in-house wastewater treatment plants in both our denim and woven mills. Together, the two plants process up to 3,000 tons of wastewater per day. We ensure that all wastewater is converted into purified water that not only meets but exceeds national standards. Based on our latest 2019 data, the purified water has a COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) of 120, which is 30% above the national standard in terms of pollutant reduction.

At TSG, nothing goes to waste. In 2019, 120,386 tons of treated water went right back into production. That volume of reused water per year could fill 49 Olympic-sized swimming pools. Combined with water-saving procedures during production, we are doing our very best to close the loop.
